My computer still shuts off and restarts on its own but now only when I try
to install Windows Media Player 11. It just shuts off right in the middle of
the installation! I get this message:

Error type : Windows stop error (A message appears on a blue screen with
error code information)
Solution available? : No
What does this error mean? : Windows has encountered an error from which it
cannot recover and needs to restart
Cause : Unknown device driver
Computer symptoms : A message appears on a blue screen with error code
information (for example: e.g. 0x0000001E, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED)
Additional steps for you to take : Important: Please continue to send error
reports so analysts at Microsoft can study and try to correct the problem as
quickly as possible.

When you send the error report, do you get a bucket number?

The bucket # is in this message somewhere, I think. I copied it from the
event viewer properties. This is what it said:

? That's a crash in WMP10, not WMP11. You would want the new event created
when the WMP11 installer blows up.
