I have a WMP11 desktop machine which acts as my music / media server, and I
also have a laptop which is used to sync the music held on my server to
windows mobile 5.0 devices.

When I add new music to my library (on the server), the library on my laptop
is obviously NOT updated. I want to set up a batch file which will copy the
library on the server to the "documents and settings" directory on the laptop.

I appreciate that obviously I will have to use UNC paths on the servers WMP
database i.e. "\\server\music\filename" on the server or the databse won`t
work on the laptop.

Which files should I need to copy? Is there anything else which I`ll need to
do to make this work?

I believe the library would actually resolve that path for you, so this
wouldn't work.  The library file can be found via these notes:

, but I don't think your plan would work.

Speaking for myself only.
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
