I opened up my neatly and simply organized "80s" music folder and almost
burst into tears. The folder has individual songs by many different artists.
At some point MP11 had decided all by itself to place each of these files
into folders arranged according to artists. These folders have sub-folders
with the album the song comes from, into which they're placed.

Ie, WP11 had re-organized my folder in the way it creates music when you rip
it, according to album then artist, even though I don't remember "asking" it
to at any time.
I spent 2 hours changing things back to the way I had them.
That's definitely not how I want this particular folder organized for
various reasons.

The next time I looked at the folder, guess what? WMP11 had gone off and
re-arranged everything back to how IT likes it all over again!!!

I am so peeved I could scream. To be honest, I did in fact scream. Please,
Does anyone know how to stop this from happening? I don't want MP11 touching
my folders with its grubby little fingers unless I specifically tell it to.

What are your rename & rearrange settings on the Library tab of the Tools >
Options dialog?
