I am wondering how I can show the Now Playing tab on startup of Windows Media
Player 11. I used to be able to do this on Media Player 10 without any
problems, but with Media Player 11 I can't do this.

I can't stand Media Player 11 going to the library tab all the time on
startup.

This is also my problem.  You can click to hide the list pane but you can't
easily get it back.  You can't see song length as easily as before.  The
artist/song title is not visualised on the player except a few letters at the
bottom left.   This is so annoying. I'm going back to version 10.

It is possible to show the playlist information in 'Now Playing'. Click on the downarrow under the 'Now Playing' tab and select 'Show List Pane'. Once you can see that, you can drag it left, and the track lengths and star ratings are displayed.
