Multi-media reader drives missing in My Computer

It was plugged in, but I unplugged both ends and plugged them back in,
re-started the computer and ta da, there were the drives.  Thanx!

Must have been a dodgy connection - sometimes they get a little bit of
finger oil on the end which makes the contact a bit patchy.
