Did anyone elses music files double in the playlist when they downloaded the
new version 11? I seem to have all my old music files, pre-update, doubled.
When I try to delete the double it does not only that but it also deletes the
original as well.  I don't have a second file of music and I have gone
through most of the options given to me through the program. I am at my wits
end. I am considering removing the program, burning my songs on a cd and
starting from scratch...Unless someone has a better solution?! Please.

In my case it is only the files that have been renamed or tags have been
changing: sync does not remove the old files form my device no matter what I
do; after struggling with this problem for two days I finally removed the
library manually (the procedure has been detailed in the WMP knowledge base),
recreated it, reformatted 60GB Zen Xtra device and synchronized it again ...
This can be done if you have a full backup disk, and it is a long and slow
procedure, but I was also at my wit's end ... Creative new software, realised
at the end of Dec 2006 does not even start synchronization, just stays on for
hours "comparing".

Why not to provide a button in WMP: mirror the libray on your device? In
principle "synch" should do it but it does not work. WMP 11 is quite nice but
when basic things are so confusing it becomes useless. I check frequently for
the updates but nothing is coming ...
