opening email attachments

everytime I try to open an attachment in outlook express,
windows media player pops up, how do I stop it from doing
that? It never used to, now I cannot open any of my email

Have you selected email stationery or signature that includes a MIDI file?

Is it just attachments (all attachment types?) that do this, or when you "I
cannot open any of my email" does this mean that it opens with ANY message?
