Can anyone please help me, i would like ot change a
windows media audio file into a WAV file.

you need a third party program for this. like cooledit. if you do
a search on google numerous other offers will show up.

I don't know if Cool Edit is free, shareware or whatever,
but just in case that doesn't suit you...

The task is simplicity itself with Graphedit (downloaded
separately from www.doom9.org, or as part of the Dshow
SDK (IIRC))
