WMP 11

Just downloaded WMP 11 and it will not play anything. get this error
encountered error message C00D11B1 while using Windows Media Player

Hey Mike thanks for the help; but nothing got my sound back it's weird
because I get all the windows sound just can not get WMP11 to play anthing.

Toopay,

 Can you please try creating another user account to see if you can play
the content in that new setup?  You don't need to reinstall Windows, just go
to the User Account manager, make a new account and log into that one.  I'm
trying to see if this a system issue or a profile (user account) issue.
