From External Hard Drive to Media Player 11 to Xbox 360

I am trying to stream videos, pictures and music from my MyBook External Hard
Drive to my Xbox 360. I have already added these files into Media Player 11,
they just aren't showing up on my Xbox 360. Obviously this has something to
do with the External Hard Drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DnvrBrncs,

 Is the location listed in the Monitored Folders section of the Library
Options tab?

 Is the location an NTFS drive or a FAT32 drive?

 Someone else has the same issue and their external drive is a FAT32
partition.
