Slide Show w/narration

Hi,
I have a lot of digital picturres that I want to make into a slide show with
narration using a mic. I also want to control how long each picture appears.
I was hoping that Windows DVD Maker would work but it not so. In the end I
want to burn the slide show to DVD or burn the DVD as I narrate (if that is
possible).
Can someone direct me to a program that will do this. I'm running Windows
Vista on a HP notebook.

I think probably PhotoStory is the closest - details here for XP (but
it should already be installed)

You should be able to burn the resulting WMV video using vista's DVD
maker.

you can use Slideshow to play the digital photo, where to use slideshow, you
can use it in the Windows Vista photo gallery, when you click the play
button, you can see the photos in the slideshow mode.

and also you can set up how long the photo plays and other setting, such as
editing the photo and so on.
