Media Player 9 Plays all sound files like a 45 rpm Record

Any one know why when I listen to anything in mediaplayer
it plays it like you put a 33 rpm record on 45 on my
turntable? But when I play the same cd from the windows cd
player it plays fine.

Lower the sound card acceleration and check for updated drivers.
