How can i overcome this error? I was trying to open some music tracks from
another server in Windows media and I got this error. I had to connect to
this Server by overcoming the advice from Windows Vista [which indicated that
the site was unsafe]. I knew the owner of the site and he told me to override
this expected error message, which i did. i saw the tracks he was trying to
send to me listed there and hey presto when i tried to open them up pops this
error code C00D11E4

The owner of the site probably needs to give you full read/execute access to
the share.  You may only have browse access, which means you can look but
cannot touch.

What happens when you try to copy a file from there to your local system?
