how do i get rid of the netgear fire wall as it is blocking certain web pages

Connect a computer to the Netgear router with an ethernet cable. Now open a
browser and put the Netgear's IP address into the addressbar. This will
bring you to the Netgear's login page for the configuration utility. Log in
with the credentials you used when you set it up (hopefully you changed
them from the default) and make changes as desired. For more specific
details, refer to your Netgear manual or Netgear's product support page.

This has nothing to do with Windows.
