Admin problem

Hi,
I have Admin rights on my pc with Vista Premium. I had no problems. Then I
created a user account with parental controls. Since then I can't install a
new program as I get an error message saying I don't have rights. I also get
this running other programs but can right click to Run as administrator. This
does not help with installing new programs though as it won't run the
startup.exe file on the CD. I tried changing the registry as per the MS help
page but this made no difference.
I tried killing the user a/c & it made no differenceM my admin account still
stays blocked. I tried a System Restore which failed.  I knew XP had similar
problems but I expected it to be fixed with Vista, especially since there are
nice Parental Controls stuff added.

What else can I try?
Thanks in advance.
Tam.

Hello,

maybe a run into Safe Mode will help: Restart Windows, and press F8 before
Windows loads. Then, log on with the built-in account named "Administrator".
Change your settings to the user accounts there. It may help, please try.
