Hello All,

I've created a movie in the Windows Movie Maker, that I first saved as, then
proceeded to publish to prepare it for burning to a CD. Upon attempting to
open the file I was stopped by a message stating file is not a valid windows
movie maker file. The strange part is when I saved it, I gave it a specific
name ending in the word NEW, once closing and re-opening movie maker the file
name was now NEW.MSWMM and I believe whatever that is, is where my file may
be..How can I find it to continue moving forward?? As it stands I can't even
open, look at, edit or anything anymore, but the item is still available
under the OPEN options. PLEASE HELP ANYONE...

Thank you sincerely

While I do not know the answer to your question, there are a couple of
places where your question is more likely to get answered:

a different newsgroup:  microsoft.public.windows.vista.music_pictures_video

a web site:  http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/forums/

Good luck.
