Hey, I've got this problem where I cannot delete files because I need
"permission" to do so. I am the administrator on this computer. I have
tried several suggestions including CMD stuff (didn't work due to no
success in doing it) and downloading that "take ownership" file. That
didn't work either. Can anyone help me please!!!

Welcome to the Vista Forums!

Try booting into safe mode, and try deleting the file again. Sometimes
running in safe mode allows you to do things you can't do in regular
boot mode.

Let us know if that worked for you.

If that doesn't work, try taking ownership (Properties/Security/Owner).

Where are these files located?
'take ownership' is usually an article on the MS kb site on how to deal with
files that are usually located on another Win installation drive, that has
been slaved to your currecnt system.
