I would change the processor before any long trip. Excessive moisture next
to the skin can cause all manner of rashes.
Please provide some hardware details and we may be able to seriously assist
you.

Probably not. What Intel CPU is it? If it is a Pentium 3 or lower, then you
will need to upgrade to get a higher processor.
