I am unable to find a driver for my network card that works with Vista.  It
is a 'Linksys NC100 Fast Ethernet Adapter'.  I've tried the driver on the
Linksys site but this doesn't work.  I've actually had this problem since
Vista launch.  I couldn't get it to work.  I went out and bought alot of
different NICs and eventually gave up and just stayed with XP.  I'd like to
get this working, I figured after so long they would have this fixed.

According to Linksys site the driver is dated 2001 and is for winxp, ie no
Vista driver
Wouldnt it be easier to buy a network card that supports Vista?
I would suspect also that you have a rather old mobo
