IQON new machine Core TM 2 Duo 3 MHz

Problem: vista premium doesn't show Slave drive in explorer

Device manager sees master and slave?

Any ideas please

 a.. Master hard-drive Samsung sp2514n 250GB (Pata)  partitioned
 b.. Slave WDC WD2500JB  250GB
On a gigabyte Motherboard GA-945GZM-S2 (I read the manual)

Bios see both drives master/slave. And in cable select mode on one ribbon
EIDE port

I've tried two old IDE drives both worked but put any with the Samsung and
vista doesn't show in explorer.

Please help !

I'm sure that you have checked the jumpers already.  Is it a new drive?
Have you assigned a drive letter in DM?

Hi,

Does it show in disk manager? Is it already partitioned? Run diskmgmt.msc
and check that the drive shows here. Once you've created volumes with this
tool, they will show in Windows Explorer.
