I read in an older thread that i would need to install SP1 and make my
(optical usb) mouse HID compliant in order to have it work on my
computer. So i installed SP1 but i still don't know how to make a usb

Hi,

Making it compliant means obtaining a Vista-compliant driver from the device
manufacturer. If they don't supply one, then it may not work under Vista.
