Mute channel from sound device

Hello, I have a problem, I need to mute some channels from sound card
(line-in, midi, etc) in Windows XP I used to open Mixer in advanced mode and
just mut them. In Vista i have no such ability. Please help me, how can I
mute specific channels from audio card?

Control Panel (Classic view) > Sound > Playback > highlight Speakers > press
Properties button > Levels tab. Or check out the options available in any sound
manager applet for your audio adapter (Realtek:  Control Panel (Classic view) >
Realtek HD Audio Manager).
