I have HP J5750 all-in-one installed.When I scan to wordpad I get error
message destination component stopped working> windows searches for solution
with no solution for problem. Using windows vista basic

Hi Rick,
I don't think Wordpad can handle that. Is there any imaging software
on your PC like Paint Shop Pro? I think HP has it's own software the
scanning is suppose to scan to. Should be on the HP cd. If you don't
have the cd you can get it from hp.com.
