I recently had my hard drive replaced in my dell inspiron e1505, the laptop
worked great until I turned it on in the morning 2 weeks after the hard drive
was replaced and the beeping occured. An initial diagnostic said my optical
drive had an error, after I was instructed to removed and reseat the CD drive
I turned the unit off and let it sit only to have the irratic beep return. A
"key stuck" message appeared and I was also instructed to reconnect the
keyboard in which I did and the beep still occured. I spoke to Dell 3 times
in one day and they got me no where. Does anyone have any insight to my
problem? Also is it normal to hear the hard drive click on occasion? The
laptop is only 6 months old. Thanks

No, it is not normal to ever hear a hard drive click.
