How do I set up an automatic reply to incoming mail in Vista Windows mail?

Not recommended, because you'll be responding to spam email,
and it requires leaving your computer on 24/7.
If you still want to do it, investigate whether your mail provider
offers an auto-responder on the server. Many do.

Gary, I have this exact problem. I created an automatic response, and I dont
know how to shut it off. I dont remember exactly how, but I do remember
creating it. My ISP is comcast.net and I am using windows vista with windows
mail 6.0  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Log in to that account using webmail and see if you have such an option
there.

Chances are, that option is accessed online. Go to
http://www.comcast.net/webmail/
