For some unknown (to Me) reason when I send out a single email message the
recipient gets anywhere form 10-15 copies of the same email. This just
started to happen recently. Was thinking of deleting windows mail (Vista) and
reloading it but cant figure out where it is to delete. sure could use some
help on this one. Thanks

Sorry, Vista won’t let you lest you never reinstall it.

Hmmm? Not sure that is true. I think you can use the Recovery Console to re-install Windows Vista components. So I've been told, but never had occasion, yet, to do it.

No trees were harmed in the sending of this message and a very large number of electrons were asked their permission to be terribly inconvenienced. And a party was thrown for them afterwards for being really cool about it.

You can't delete or reinstall Windows Mail without doing the same
to all of Vista.
Look in Tools, Accounts, and make sure you only have one instance
of that account. Then delete that account, restart Windows Mail
and recreate that account. If that did not fix the problem, which
antivirus are you running?

Do that or switch to Windows Live Mail, free download companion to Windows Live Messenger. Does everything WinMail does and more, only better. Another Outlook, Outlook, look-a-alike clone. Google it. I highly recommend both that and Windows Live Messenger, also free. Check out my webpage on also free SkyDrive, free webpage host and FTC storage site, also companion products. See the point 3 here and the section on Windows Mail
(www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) Some antivirus software you have to
uninstall completely. Also update your version of Vista to SP1 and it
should take care of some problems. Verify that the messages are being
removed from the outbox also, once they are sent.

Especially true if you are using Norton. No problems in my experience using McAfee, SpyBot, AVG, etc. Norton does not get along well with a number of Vista features and Apps.

Both McAfee and AVG will cause problems if set to scan email. McAfee has a
major history of causing such problems in OE and WinMail.
