recovered email in windows mail

imported to i have a pavillion dv9208 running vista (which runs like a
snail) but i have a snag with windows mail. Every day the mail account tries
to recover every email on our account (40000) then just starts again. In the
folder list it appears as

> recovered messages

> 04-30-2008 21-21-08
> local folders
> imported to Fo random numbers
then each file is duplicated with random numbers afterwards... how can I put
an end to this it is infuriating

Your Windows Mail is corrupt. You have two choices:
1. (easy): Upgrade to Windows Live Mail: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview

2. (not so easy): Reset Windows Mail. Go to
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/62560-windows-mail-problems.html
and scroll down to the section "How to Backup and Reset Windows Mail."

Try compacting and repairing the database with my Windows Mail utility and
see if that fixes the issue (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/)
