I have a Yahoo e-mail address, and while trying to create an account in the
Windows Mail, one of the questions I must answer is the Incoming e-mail
server type (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP), and server name.  In the same window, it
also asks the OUTGOING e-mail server (SMTP) name.  I read the instructions in
the help window, but weren't really useful (or, at least, I didn't understand
them).  I'd just like to know if it's actually possible to create an account
in Window's Mail for my Yahoo mail address, and if so, what options should I
use when the system requests this information about the incoming and outgoing
mail servers.

I'd REALLY appreciate it if you'd help me out.

Using the Yahoo server for which country?  If it's the US server
(yahoo.com),
if you want to connect using Windows Mail, you have to either pay extra or
install YPOPs.

Some of the instructions were written for Outlook Express, but should
also work under Windows Mail as long as the instructions don't call
for the HTTP protocol.

Yahoo also runs some servers for specific internet providers.  If you mean
one of those, that internet provider probably pays for the service, but the
setup details depend on which internet provider you are using.
