Gary -- The Contact Group acts like the old Groups in Outlook express. It is
used for bulk mailing. Folders, in Outlook Express held sorted names where
you could pick and choose who you wanted to send to. FYI -- if you place a +
in front of the Contact Group name (in Vista) it will be at the top of the
list when sending out emails in Windows Mail. When you click on "To" and the
contact list comes up, the Contact Group will be at the top. Thanks for
trying but I knew about what you were saying.

Unfortunately, Windows Live Mail Contacts doesn't have folders either.
Its groups are a little more flexible in that you can expand the group
on the To line and delete members of the group. So, it isn't just an
all-or-nothing mailing list as in Windows Mail.

Gary -- Never thought of that but when I have a Retiree List of a hundred or
so people and only want ot send out to a few that becomes counter productive.
Should have ordered my new computer with XP. Thanks!
