I have my yahoo account forwarded to my gmail account and then my gmail
account forwarded to Windows mail. It seems to take a long time for my mail
to arrive in Windows Mail. Is there somethng I missed or something to speed
up the process?

Why are you forwarding yahoo to gmail. Why not forward yahoo to WM and
forward gmail to WM instead of sending mail all around the web.

You can't forward email to an email client, only to an email server.
If you have the free Yahoo email account, without POP access, then you could
forward it to Gmail, which has POP & IMAP access.
