I am using Vista (Ultimate, SP1) for the first time, and though I quite like
Windows Mail (it seems a big improvement over Outlook Express!) I have a
frustrating problem with it.
When I compose a message, and hit the send button, I lose the Windows Mail
window and it switches to another open window (usually my browser). The
email is sent fine, but it's frustrating to have to keep manually going back
to Windows Mail.
Can someone please explain why this is happening and suggest a fix?
Thanks,
Mike.

Is the main Windows Mail window large enough that the send button in the
news message window is over part of the main window? If not, click on the
edges of the main window, and drag them out to make this window larger.

Windows Mail is very sensitive to interference from some Antivirus
programs. One solution is to upgrade to the newer Windows Live Mail:

That's a known bug that will probably never be fixed.
