I bought a new compter with Vista and having trouble setting up a Windows
e-mail account.  Any procedures you can share?

The email program that comes with Vista is Windows Mail.  However, if I
remember correctly, it is unable to handle msn.com accounts, so you need
to download and install another email program which can.  One of the
suitable programs is Windows Live Mail:

Go to Help | View Help and then there are directions on how to set up an
account.

Also disable email scanning of your antivirus software.  See point 3 here:
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3  Your computer may actually crash with SP1
installed.

Incidentally, the time zone setting on your computer is way off.
Please correct it, so that it doesn't appear like you're posting from
the future.
