Is there a way of getting rid of windows mail, and using outlook express in vista there are a number of things in windows mail I cannot stand, in particular I use the calendar a lot and it was integrated into express and easy to use, not so in windows mail regards There was no calendar in OE. Windows Mail is a part of Vista, and very difficult to remove without also removing the rest of Vista. Some people consider Windows Live Mail to be closer to their idea of what Outlook Express is: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview When installed, it hides, but does not remove, Windows Mail and takes over handling any accounts that were already set up in Windows Mail. If you are confusing Outlook Express with Outlook, versions 2003 and later of Outlook will run well under Vista. It's a lot cheaper than versions WITH Outlook.... |
