I was trying to delete a email that I opened up and I accidentally
interrupted the delete process...the message had not been deleted totally as
I closed the undeleted message.  I interrupted the delete process by closing
out the message.  The message still shows up in my Inbox.  I get a message
saying:  "An unknown error has occurred" when trying to delete message in
Inbox.
Is there a quick fix for this?

See if this helps, it works for all folders:

Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista
