I have an old computer and I want to keep my emails from my old computer.
What is the best way of doing that?

That depends entirely on what operating systems and email clients you used
on the old computer and will get and use on the new computer.  What are you
coming from and to what do you wish to transfer it, XP-Outlook Express to
Vista-Windows Mail, XP-Outlook to Vista-Windows Mail, XP-Outlook to
Vista-Outlook, some other combination?

The  best method would  be heavily influenced by what the mail client on the
old system actually is.   The OS is also a factor.

It's hard to say more without that information.
