Hello,

I would like to ask:

1. I would like to add some groups of the http://sci.tech-archive.net/
to win mail.
Is it possible?

2. Is there a web site which lists newsgroups arund the world that are
active?

They don't seem to offer instructions on how to do this.  Windows Mail
can't handle the HTTP protocol.

There seems to be a separate list for each newsgroup server, usually
with nothing on whether the group is active, and seldom on a website.
If text-only newsgroups are enough for you, try this free newsgroup
server:

http://www.motzarella.org/

If you need binary newsgroups also, you'll probably need one of the
paid newsgroup providers instead unless your internet provider
offers newsgroups.

You need to check if your ISP provides a news feed, or pay for access to
one, or even find a free server?

Try http://www.motzarella.org it is free and good.
You need to register first, it does appear to carry some sci. groups.
