How can I send a automatic notification when I'm on vacation or away for a
couples days? I'm using windows mail.

It's usually easier on your email provider's webmail site than trying to do
it
on your computer.  Also, that keeps you from needing to keep your computer
turned on while you're away.

However, do you want to tell any spammer that has guessed your email
address and uses a valid return address that the address she/he/it has
guessed actually reaches someone?

Not recommended, unless you want all the spammers to know of your
absence and notify their burglar friends...
Send a notice to your correspondents beforehand.

Thanks I did not think about that! But just for my personnal info, can we do
that with Windows Mail?

Yes, with Message Rules, but you would haqve to leave the computer on and
connected.
