It was probably an image and you need to resize the image. I think you can
open it in Paint and do that or you can get www.irfanview.com which will do
it.

Hey Steve,
Thanks for your quick response. I'm not sure if it will help me or not.
I've never used Paint and not really sure where to find it. Seems like there
should be an option in Mail somewhere. The Windows Mail e-mail window covers
the whole screen, which I'm not accustomed to.
I'll look around for Paint. Do you think it would help to shrink the
width of the Mail window? I'll see what I can do.

You can resize the WinMail window by dragging the edges as with any other
window. If its maximized, then you can click the restore button in the
upper right corner and then you can resize it.

Hi Steve,
Dragging the screen to shrink it had totally slipped my mind. I was
thinking in every other direction. I'll do that and see what happens the next
time I scan an attachment to an e-mail.
