I have set my email to day on my laptop, i have used the same settings as on
my desktop. I can send emails but not receive them, i am on dial up, when i
set it up it did not ask for the name of my isp, only the dial up tel
number......this is confusing me, all advice will be appreciated, thanks

Go to Tools, Accounts, select your mail account, Properties, Connection.
Make sure the box is not checked, which will ensure that Windows Mail
will use the same connection as IE.
