adding photos to an email

When adding photo attachments to and email my photos show up in the body of
the email.  Is there a way to just add a photo folder that does not take up
too much room?

It does not take up any more room by appearing in the body of the message.
It's only there once, But WinMail likes to show images.

Is there a way to just do a folder of photos instead of individual photo
attachments?
