I imported my OE contacts list into Windows mail and it has ended up on my
desktop as its location.

The contacts list does not appear automatically under my folders list in the
WM box.  I have to click on address book to see my contacts.

Can you help me to get the contacts where (I think!) they should be please?

They should be in the Contacts list, which does not appear automatically
when
you run Windows Mail.  An easy way to make it appear is to start a new
message, don't type any part of the address, and click on To:, in order to
make it appear long enough to use it.
