I have a outlook.pst file from a XP machine which I want to import to my new
Vista machine. How do I do it?

Outlook must be installed on the Vista machine. Alternatively, on XP, export the
pst to Outlook Express and then import into Windows Mail.
If you don't have access to the XP machine or Outlook, get one of the free trial
versions of Office 2007 from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA101741481033.aspx
that includes Outlook and export the messages then.
