Some of them cause assorted problems in Windows Mail, although seldom that fast. Check if you have any installed programs with SMS in their names. If so, list them. There's such a program that also causes problems in Windows Mail. Do you get any error messages when trying to receive mail? If so, right click on them and copy the entire error messages into your next message. If you get any error messages when trying to send your self a short message and then receive it, right click on them and copy them into your next message.
