frequency in rec/send

question
in old hotmail you had the ability to send and receive mail

at time you desired do i have that ability with live mail i searched
but

did not find any area like tools in wlm

am i incorrect please help out

You're likely to get better answers for Windows Live Mail if
you ask in newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

Not sure what you mean by "at time you desired."
You can click the Send/Receive button anytime you want.
You can also configure the program to do so automatically
every X minutes: Tools, Options, "Check for new messages
every X minutes." I recommend making X somewhere between
5 and 15.

i found the tools but for me it does not say tools

up in the right hand corner there is a little brush to change the color
scheme

then next to it is a notepad that has the options in it

but truthfully i thought clicked on it and got something else

but it is there

I don't know what screen you are in, but it doesn't sound like the
main screen of Windows Mail. Can you take a screen shot
and post it at http://imageshack.us and then give us the link.

Many of us don't feel like creating an account on a website where we
don't already have one to see a picture.

Also, many of us are using methods of reaching this newsgroup that
make it difficult to go back to previous messages in this thread to
see what you didn't quote from them.
