signed up so i can email from windows word,  a error message comes up and
wont let me change any thing need help

"Word" is a word processing program, not an email program.
Which email program are you using? If it is Windows Mail, that
error message shows that you have the wrong server name. Also,
Windows Mail cannot handle most MSN.com accounts. If your
account is meant for webmail access as opposed to POP access,
you will need to switch to the newer Windows Live Mail program:
http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview
