I am trying to set up windows mail for newsgroups and I am using Road Runner
as my server.
When I enter the required information for setting my newsgroup account I
gert an error message that reads, "502 roadrunner.com:  access denied to your
node."
Does anyone know what that means or how it can be corrected?

Are you trying to use it from outside Road Runner?  If so, it won't work.

The correct server entry for Microsoft Community Newsgroups is
"msnews.microsoft.com" (less the quote markers).

But many people want access to newsgroups other than those
available on that newsgroups server, and therefore have to add
a different server.

The OP is not asking about the Microsoft Community news server.
