Windows Forum / Windows Vista / Mail / July 2008"The spelling check is complete" keeps popping up
When I try to create a new email in Windows Mail the "Spelling check is complete" window keeps popping up. When I hit OK it comes back up again straight away, constantly and so I am unable to create any new emails because of this. Has anybody come accross this problem before? Any suggestions on how I can get rid of it would be appreciated.  SignatureAnabelle I've never heard of that particular problem. Which antivirus are you running? I have also just noticed now that the same thing is happening in Word when I try to type a document .... the spell check will keep opening up automatically. The only suggestion I have is to do a trial uninstall of McAfee, followed by using their special removal tool: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=107083&lc=1033 You can always reinstall McAfee if it is not the culprit. If you open the tab and tick the box "spellcheck before sending, "this should resolve the issue on UK servers. I tried it myself and it worked. Will probably work on overseas servers too.
