Hi all,
I am running windows vista, and for a few days I have been unale to
send/receive any emails.  The message that appears is:

The host 'pop.orangehome.co.uk' could not be found. Please verify that you
have entered the server name correctly.
Account: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Server: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number:
0x800CCC0D

Any suggestions?  I am not particularly computer literate!

The path to that server seems to be slower than the path to most email
servers, so it could be overloaded or have other problems.

See if this helps:

Your settings appear to be correct, according to
http://help.orange.co.uk/documentDisplay.do?clusterName=DefaultCluster&preview=1
&groupId=1&page=&docType=1006&resultType=5002&docProp=$solution_id&docPropValue=
kb15279

It appears that the server 'pop.orangehome.co.uk' is having some temporary
problems. Several times when I tried connecting to it, it timed out.
Keep retrying, and call Orange for help.
