The boss would like to clean up his email by removing all of his email
messages from his windows live account to a dvd.  Is this possible?  I
didn't see any options to export.

In which email program?  If it's Windows Live Mail, you're likely to get a
better answer if you ask in newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

If it's Windows Mail instead, click on File, then Export, then Messages,
then Microsoft.Windows Mail, then Next, then enter an empty diectory
on your hard drive to export them to.  After they are exported, copy
that entire directory to the DVD.
