Outlook not working

Can anyone help me???
My outlook will log in and then send me the same messages like 8+ times
each!! then stop working - it says its not responding and then stops working
and tries to tell me to fix the problem by installing version 7 of outlook,
whichI already have on my laptop. I really need my emails back!!! :(

You're more likely to get help for Outlook problems if you ask in a
newsgroup meant for Outlook, such as:

microsoft.public.outlook.general

Mention which version of Outlook you are using, and that you are
using it under Vista, in case it matters.

There is no Outlook version 7; Office Outlook versions are 97, 98, 2000,
2002 (XP), 2003, and 2007. Are you maybe talking about Outlook Express?
Regardless, the symptoms you describe are often associated with an AntiVirus
application that is set to scan email and is having problems doing so.
